Message from All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF)
The most sad aspect of the indefinite strike of power workers and engineers in Madhya Pradesh, which started from the midnight of 5th and 6th October, is that the night shift workers and engineers are being made to work continuously even after almost 24 hours and they are not being relieved. As a result, many engineers and employees have become unconscious in the control room; the condition of many has become very bad and they have to be admitted to the hospital. The amount of condemnation that can be given to the management of Madhya Pradesh Power Sector for this act is less.
We once again request Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to immediately intervene. It is these employees of the power sector of Madhya Pradesh, it is these engineers who have made Madhya Pradesh self-reliant in the power sector. It is never appropriate to treat these employees this way today.
Lakhs of power workers and engineers from all the states of the country are standing firmly with the power workers of Madhya Pradesh.
