AILRSA presents its arguments to the RLC, Chennai why the job of loco running staff should be reclassified as ‘intensive’

 

Message from All India Loco Running Staff Association (AILRSA) about the meeting with the Regional Labour Commissioner (RLC), Chennai on 2 April 2024

“Dear Comrades,

You are aware that the RLC, Chennai was directed by the High court of Chennai for a fresh job analysis to be done to reclassify the Loco Running staff as intensive or not.

Accordingly, the RLC Chennai sent notice to GM/SR and to our union for a joint meeting on 2.4.2024 at the RLC office Chennai

In the joint meeting on behalf of Association the following attended.

  1. K.C James, Secretary General,
  2. L. Mony, Central Working President,
  3. V. Balachandar. , Central organising secretary.
  4. R. Kumaresan, SR Zonal President
  5. Sivakumar
  6. R. Kannan, both are from Madras Division.

From the Railway Authorities side,

APO/ MDU Div. and

Law Officer/MDU.

We placed our detailed representation to the RLC / Chennai, which is posted below.

RLC directed the Railway to submit their opinion, suggestion and objection on 24.4.2024 in conducting job analysis as per the High Court order. And the next sitting is fixed for 24.04.2024″
