Sub: Information for wearing BLACK BADGE while on duty as symbol of protest to solidarity support of Southern Railway’s Loco Running Staff for their legitimate demands – reg.
As per the decision of Zonal Working Committee/ AILRSA/ Northern Railway, a symbolic protest of wearing BLACK BADGE while on duty will be conducted from 15.06.2024 to 17.06.2024 for 03 days to give a moral support to the Loco Running Staff of Southern Railway for their following legitimate demands.
1. Grant of 16+ 30hrs. (Headquarter + Periodical Rest) Consecutive Rest.
2. Total duty hours from Sign ON to Sign OFF should be 10 hrs.
3. Continuous Night Duty limited to 02 Nights only.
4. Absence from Head Quarter should be maximum 48 hrs instead of 72 hrs.
In addition of the above the AILRSA/ NR also conducted a questionnaire in Google form through online mode from the Loco Running Staff of Northen Railway with relation to above demands those are giving adverse effect on the family & social life of Loco Pilots and affecting railway safety also. AILRSA/NR/ LKO division participating this protest and also requesting to the Railway Administration to consider above mentioned demands and this protest will be organised in disciplined manner without any gathering.
