Report by KEC correspondent regarding the meeting conducted by PJCA on 7th February 2025 at New Delhi
The Postal Joint Council of Action (PJCA), comprising National Federation of Postal Employees (NFPE), Federation of National Posta Organisations (FNPO), All India Grami Dak Sevaks Union (AIGDSU), and National Union of Gramin Dak Sevaks (NUGDS), convened to address pending demands of postal employees. The meeting finalized a series of programs to escalate agitation efforts and ensure demands are met.
Following are the Key Decisions & Agreed Programs:

- 14th February 2025: Divisional-level agitation program.
- 18th–20th February 2025: Nationwide wearing of demand badges by employees.
- 25th February 2025: Circle-level dharna and submission of strike notices.
- 3rd March 2025: Centralized dharna at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi.
- 10th March 2025: Postcard writing campaign to highlight demands.
- 11th March 2025: Mass email campaign targeting policymakers.
- 12th March 2025: Social media mobilization via Twitter (X) campaign.
- 18th March 2025 onwards: Indefinite nationwide strike if demands remain unresolved.

- Tour Program: All India leaders to visit all postal circles to mobilize support.
- Letters of Collaboration:
- Appeal to BMS (Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh) and other associations for solidarity.
- Formal request to Ministry of Communications (MOC) urging urgent dialogue with PJCA.
- Notice to Secretary (Posts): Inform about planned agitation starting 12th February 2025 (preliminary action).
The PJCA reaffirmed its commitment to securing employee welfare through coordinated agitation. Members emphasized the urgency of addressing demands and warned of intensified actions, including an indefinite strike, if the administration fails to respond.
