As a part of AILRSA Nationwide 36 hours hunger fast, AILRSA/WAT organised 36 hours Hunger Fast Program in front of DRM/WAT Office, RGDA Crew lobby, KRPU Crew lobby from 08:00 hours of 20.02.2025 to 20:00 hours of 21.02.2025. All the running staff who were available in Headquarters observed & joined at hunger fast Manch at VSKP, RGDA & KRPU.
The running staff at Running Rooms of KRPU, BCHL, JDB, RGDA, VSKP, VZM, VBL, CHE & PSA also observed the 36 hours hunger fast. The running staff on duty of VSKP, SCMN, MIPM, KRPU, RGDA, JDB, BCHL, VZM, AGPL also observed it by wearing the “I am on 36 Hunger Fast” badge.
Most of the running staff of VSKP gathered at hunger fast manch in front of DRM/WAT Office. Com. Reddy Venkata Rao, Convenor, Central Government Coordination committee inaugurated the program by putting the garlands on the demonstrators at 08:00 hours of 20.02.2025 and addressed the gathering. The sister trade Union leaders from CITU, defence, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant Union, VSKP Shipyard, LIC, PSU coordination committee, contract workers union, AIGC & AISMA and ECoRSU leaders extended their support by joining the program and addressed the gathering.
AILRSA/WAT delegation met with DRM/WAT on 21.02.2025 and submitted the Memorandum on local issues for CRB & CEO Railway Board. The DRM/WAT responded positively and assured to resolve the local issues which were under his jurisdiction.
The 36 hours hunger fast program was concluded by Com. M. K. Srinivasa Rao CITU/VSKP President by offering the lemon juice at 20:00 hours of 21.02.2025 to the running staff who observed 36 hours hunger fast.
