The decision to privatise the power department is a direct attack on the survival of thousands of electricity workers and their families, on the dreams of their children, and on the energy security of the country.
This struggle is not only of workers but also of each Indian who does not want the country’s basic services to become a market for profit.
The placards raised by these girls are urgently demanding: Stop privatisation… don’t play with our future.
