Jammu & Kashmir trade unions held protest rallies and demonstrations all over the State on ( July to protest against anti-working class policies of the Central Government

PRESS RELEASE

Jammu And Kashmir Co-ordination Committee Of Trade Union (JKCCTU) held today protest rallies and demonstrations in Jammu and Kashmir at different District headquarters which were attended by large number of Employees, workers and Pensioners against the Anti-people and Anti-working class policies of the Central Govt. and demanded the Restoration of old pension scheme, Ensuring of full democratic, Trade Union and labour rights, Releasing of two installments of DA freezed during COVID period, Filling of all vacancies through permanent appointments, Enhancement of medical allowance to Rs1000/ pm, Wage and regularization policy for all temporary workers, Full implementation of 8th, Pay Commission report on Existing pensioners etc.

These demonstrations were held on the eve of Nationwide strike call given by Central Trade unions and Employees Federations including All India State Govt. Employees Confederation (AISGEC).

In support of the strike call impressive demonstrations were held at Press Club Jammu which was addressed by Gurmeet Singh Sr. V.P. and Provincial President Jkcctu Jammu, Dr. Shashipal Singh Gen. Secretary, Rajin Singh V.P. and others. Seminar demonstrations were held at Qamariea Park Ganderbal which was addressed by Md. Maqbool State President, G M Raina Sr. V.P. Pensioners Association, Farooq Ahmad Gania, Ab Rashid Mir Sr. Trade Union leader and others. Also, demonstrations were held at other Districts especially at Shopian which was addressed by Shiekh Nazir Gen. Secretary, Ab Hameed, and others.
