Photos and memorandum received from All India Station Masters’ Association (AISMA)
On 11 August, station masters all over India, under the banner of All India Station Masters’ Association (AISMA), organized demonstrations in observance of “Power Day.” Demonstrations were held in 68 divisions and memorandums were submitted to the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) as well as to the Chairman of Railway Board. Their demands include provision of night duty allowance, abolition of essentially intermittent roster, and scrapping of National Pension Scheme.
