On this day, our nation remembers the countless sacrifices made for India’s freedom. Yet, in 2025, Loco Pilots (LP) and Assistant Loco Pilots (ALP) still fight a silent battle for dignity, safety, and fair treatment. We operate trains carrying millions of lives, often working 12+ hours without proper rest, sleeping in unhygienic running rooms, and facing punishment even for system failures. Even a Google search tells the world the truth — calling our job “slave-like.” True independence for us will come only when duty hours are humane, rest facilities are decent, salaries match our responsibility, and our voices are heard in policy decisions. This Independence Day, let us unite and remind the Railway Board, unions, and the people of India: Safe Pilots = Safe Trains = Safe India. Our freedom is your safety. 🚂✨🇮🇳
