Dear Running Staff Colleagues,
Inquilab Zindabad!
Hearty thanks and greetings to all of you on behalf of All India Loco Running Staff Association, Moradabad Division. The enthusiastic participation and solidarity of your Division in the massive demonstration called by the Central Executive at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi, on 4 September 2025 gave unprecedented positive energy to this movement.
Our demand—a 25% increase in running allowance—is not only a recognition of our hard work, but it is also a symbol of our unity and determination. When DA has been increased by 50% and other allowances have been increased, our demand for an increase in running allowance is absolutely justified. The current ceiling of income tax, which was increased from 6000 to 10000 in the year 2011, should be increased to about 31000 at present, but it has not been increased yet. As it has not been increased till now, so the running staff is also having to pay more tax than required on their mileage. The entire zone has seen your anger on both these problems and the Zonal Railways have also been informed about your anger. The presence of more than 500 running staff from all five divisions in this demonstration has given a clear message to the administration that we will not back down on our demands.
Your unwavering support, enthusiasm and anger gave this demonstration a historic form. This unity of all of you not only strengthened our demand but also demonstrated the strength of our organization.
We, on behalf of Moradabad Division, once again thank you all for participating in this program and raising your voice for your rights by running trains smoothly without any obstruction (without detention of any train). Our struggle will continue till our demands are met.
Your cooperation and trust are our biggest strength. Come, let us all take this fight forward more strongly.
