Report received from Com. A Bholanath, Divisional Secretary, All India Loco Running Staff Association (AILRSA), Waltair (WAT) Division
AILRSA/WAT organised demonstration in front of DRM/WAT, in front of Crew Lobbies at BCHL, KRPU, RGDA & JDB on Com. S.K.Dhar’s 17 Death Anniversary on 15.09.2025 from 10:00 hours to 14:30 hours. At DRM/WAT office more than 150 running staff joined and gave tribute to founder leader of AILRSA by demonstrating for the following demands:
- More than 50% of loco running staff vacancies to be fill up immediately.
- Stop bypassing & overshooting of head-quarters.
- Demanded strict monitoring of 8 hours duty from signing on to signing off.
- Against common meals system at RGDA & VZM Running Room.
- Stop multiple trains working in short trips.
At Visakhapatnam (VSKP), Com. RKSV. Kumar, CITU, General Secretary/VSKP addressed the gathering along with AILRSA leaders. They finally submitted a memorandum to DRM/WAT.
