Call of the National Convention of Workers organised by the Joint Platform of Central Trade Unions and Sectoral Federations/Associations

The government is continuing its agenda of privatisation and sale of all strategic public sector undertakings and public services. Anti-farmer policies are pursued under different guise. Workers and farmers have been continuously agitating against the anti-worker, anti-farmer and anti-national policies. To contain and weaken the struggles of workers, four labour codes have been brought. They are a part of the plan of the bourgeoisie to remove all barriers to its drive to become a global big power, at the expense of the working people. A major attack is planned on farmers through the Seed Bill 2025 and on both workers and farmers through the Electricity Bill 2025. It is necessary to staunchly defend the basic rights of the workers and farmers. The only way forward is to strengthen our fighting unity against the capitalist class.
