To protest against the anti-worker labour codes and support the all-India general strike, more than 2 lakh defence civilian employees staged massive demonstrations and boycotted work for 1 hour. Defence employees have also raised the urgent demands of filling up vacancies, restoring OPS, resuming compassionate appointments, and stopping all outsourcing, privatisation, and contractualization in the sector.
