Report received from Eastern Railway Men’s Union (ERMU)
Eastern Railway Men’s Union (ERMU) organised massive rallies throughout Eastern Railway on 24th to 27th February 2026 under the banner ” Rail Bachao, Desh Bachao”. They marched to the Divisional Railway Managers (DRM) Offices in all the Divisions of Eastern Railway. The workers demanded scrapping of 4 labour codes, stopping privatisation of Railways, end to out-sourcing and contractualisation as well as filling up all vacant positions.
