This video, prepared by All India Loco Running Staff Association (AILRSA), raises some very urgent questions. When the High Power Committee had recommended no more than 2 night shifts in a row—and when science also shows the harms of continuous night shifts—why are loco pilots given continuous night shifts based on the arbitrary decision of a software? No guaranteed weekly offs, no holidays, no adequate rest—Will the human body follow digital clocks? Why is the safety of railway workers and passengers being put at risk by making workers slog for excessive hours instead of filling vacancies?
