Raigad Train Manager Shri GK Thakur ji died during the process of making long haul connecting two trains at Lachkura due to collision with Ahmedabad Express going from main line. This is being opposed by all loco pilots and train managers of Bilaspur zone. Members of All India Loco Running Staff Association (AILRSA) and All India Guard Council (AIGC) and other organizations jointly took out a rally on February 8 after paying homage to Shri Thakur in Bilaspur and submitted a memorandum to the General Manager (GM). They spoke to GM in this regard that such an accident should not happen in future.
Shri Rizwan said in his statement that this type of work is being done in other places in Bilaspur and division which cannot be tolerated at all. If this type of work is not stopped, then there will be a big movement. He also demanded that the family members should get immediate help.
