A day long dharna programme was successfully held on 18 February by South Eastern Railway Men’s Union (SERMU) members at Workshop Main Gate at Kharagpur, West Bengal from 9 AM to 5.30 PM.
The dharna was to protest against privatisation in railways, privatisation plan at Kharagpur workshop, new pensions scheme (NPS) and to demand for old pension scheme (OPS) for all and for engagement of apprentices who have completed their course.
