Government has furnished the following information about Jan Dhan accounts in Lok Sabha:
- Total Jan Dhan Accounts: 44.58 crore
- Public Sector Banks: 12 in number; No. of Jan Dhan Accounts – 43.26 crore, 97.05% of total
- Private Sector Banks: 14 in number; No. of Jan Dhan Accounts – 1.32 crore, 2.95%. of total

Jan Dhan is the flagship program of this government through which all social sector schemes are being implemented.
If tomorrow those banks are privatized, who will serve common man?
