Report of executive and general body meeting received from Madhya Pradesh Electricity Board Engineers Association
The Executive and General Body meeting of the Engineers Association was held on 09/04/23, in which the association members from different regions of the state along with the office bearers of the central and regional executive of the association were present.
- The executive meeting commenced first of all with Er. Vikas Srivastava reading out the Code of Conduct of the association.
- Er. Manoj Tiwari presented the serious issues like O3, fringe benefit, pension security and privatization in detail.
- Er. Vikas Shukla apprised the members about the achievements of the association during the tenure of one year and discussed in detail about the future work plan.
- Er. Hitesh Tiwari explained the different problems of generation, transmission and distribution in detail and explained how the government is trying to privatize different companies and how the engineers association is trying to stop privatization through efforts at different levels.
- Er. Suresh Trivedi discussed the seriousness of various issues and Er. Sanjeev Singh explained how the association presents its demands before the government and administration in a planned manner and with facts.
General Secretary Er. Vikas Shukla outlined the work to be done in the next two months and called upon all office bearers to strengthen the organization at every level.
In the General Body meeting all the members unanimously elected Er. Sonu Pratap Pandey for the presently vacant post of Finance Secretary, and Er. Narendra Chandel as Publicity Secretary. Along with this, many resolutions were passed in the general body in the interest of the engineers and the organization.
All the regional secretaries present in the meeting resolved to work with dedication for fulfilment of the demands of the power workers. Proposals were passed for preparing the outline and further strategy for upcoming agitation after discussions soon with all the organizations through the committee formed to bring all the organizations together. At the same time, they called upon everyone to unite and go ahead and fight till we get all the issues resolved. The General Secretary gave a call to all to work unitedly in the interest of the organization.
