Due to continuous agitation by Indian Railway S&T Maintainers Union (IRSTMU), Jhansi Division of North Central Railway has ordered the constitution of a Night Failure Rectification Gang. This has been one of the main demands of IRSTMU and all Signal & Telecommunications (S&T) staff. Presently, the S&T staff after completing their regular day time duty are called to attend duty any time in the night due to failure of signalling systems anywhere in their area of work. This puts extreme mental and physical stress on the S&T staff.
The implementation of a Night Failure Rectification Gang at Jhansi Division will put pressure on other divisions and zones of IR to also implement the same.
