In a statement, Alavandar Venu Madhav, Deputy General Secretary of Singareni Retired Employees Welfare Association, questioned the management as to why they are not paying the financial rewards to the retired workers and employees in Singareni. On this occasion, he issued a statement and alleged that the management has been paying profit share and Diwali bonus to the Singareni workers and officers since last month, but the retired workers and employees are being delayed for months to give their cash remuneration and the same pattern continues every year.
He demanded that after technological development in Singareni and computerization of every department, bonuses should be paid to the retired employees on the dates paid to the employees including colleagues, pension, provident fund and gratuity should be paid to the retired employees on the day of retirement.
