Militant demonstration to oppose labour codes held in Mumbai

A militant demonstration to protest against the notification of the Labour Codes by the Central Government was organized organised on 26 November by the Kamgar Karmachari Sanghatana Samyukta Kruti Samiti, Maharashtra at Azad Maidan, Mumbai.

The four Labour Codes were publicly torn up on stage by the leaders of CITU, HMS, BKS, INTUC, AICCTU, KEC and other unions and put into a dustbin.

Slogans were given “Teen, chaar, ek, do, Shram Sanhita ko phek do!”

The gathering of hundreds of workers was addressed by V.C. Monteiro and Sayeed Ahmed of CITU, Sanjay Wadhavkar, Trishla Kamble and Parikh of HMS, Nivrutti Desai of INTUC, Uday Bhat of AICCTU, Santosh Chalke of BKS and Dr. Mathew of Kamgar Ekta Committee (KEC).
