All India Forum Against Privatisation (AIFAP) was established in 2021, a little over four years ago. Over the years, AIFAP has played a crucial role in building the unity of various unions and organisations across India against the privatisation policies of the central and state governments.
Various power workers’ organisations in India who are also constituents of AIFAP have actively organised against the privatisation of the power sector. What is noteworthy is that AIFAP constituents from other sectors have also demanded that electricity should not be privatised.
