Letter by All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) to Chief Ministers of state Governments and Union Territories
The distribution networks all over the country have been built with public money. The government has no right to allow corporates to use them for distributing electricity and make profit. Privatisation and proposals about tariff revision will make electricity out of reach of crores of people of the country. The government cannot give up its duty to ensure availability of an essential like electricity to everyone at affordable rate.
