Letter by South Central Railway Mazdoor Union Divisional Secretary to Railway Administration
Lung -related serious suffering of a worker involved in cleaning of locomotives due to accumulation of dust particles and iron chips in the lungs of the workers is alarming. It is the failure of the railway administration to provide adequate protection equipment which has led to the problem of the worker. The railway administration should not only immediately arrange the health-check-up of all the workers but also provide them protection devices.
