Organizational resolutions and decision of All India Loco Running Staff Association (AILRSA) CWC meeting held in July 2026
Loco running staff of the Indian Railways have been waging struggle for their legitimate demands of 30 hours Periodical Rest in addition to 16 hours Headquarters Rest when periodic rest (PR) becomes due., night rest after two continuous night duties, return to Headquarters within 36 hours outstation stay, relief from duty on completion of 9 hours duty from Sign-On. They have now planned to implement their decision basic rights/privilege from 10th Dec 2026 i.e. International Human Rights Day. In preparation for the above, the AILRSA has drawn up an elaborate campaign all over the country.
