Message from Shri Shailendra Dubey, Chairman, All India Power Engineers federation (AIPEF)

AIPEF CONGRATULATES HARYANA POWER EMPLOYEES & ENGINEERS
The All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) salutes the historic success of the 48-hour statewide strike by Haryana’s power employees and engineers against the parallel electricity distribution licence granted to Eleven Power in Gurugram and Nuh.
The resolute struggle, backed by farmers, trade unions and consumers, has compelled the Haryana Government to agree to issue a policy direction under Section 108 of the Electricity Act, 2003. The Chief Minister has publicly assured that parallel licences will not be allowed in Haryana, following which the strike has been called off.
I reached Panchkula before starting of strike and camped. I monitored closely all developments & activities 24×7. Er Puneet Kundu, Er Ravinder Ghanghas, Er Baljeet Beniwal, Er Jatin Jangra and all their comrades have worked tirelessly, day and night, to transform the Haryana Power Engineers’ Association into a formidable force.
Their dedication and determination have created a historic chapter in the history of Haryana’s power sector.
May this unity, courage and fighting spirit continue to shine as a beacon of inspiration for the entire power sector of the country!
Haryana has shown the way—may this flame of solidarity burn ever brighter!
Unity and solidarity of power employees and engineers can defeat privatisation and protect the public power sector!!!
