Challenges before the Port & Dock workers and ways to overcome

Major Ports Authorities Act 2021 provides an easy platform for private companies to make an entry into Major Ports. The privatisation is being carried out through the announcement of monetisation of Port Assets as a part of the National Monetisation Pipeline. Port workers have decided to further intensify their united struggle and show their determination to combat and defeat the Port Managements against implementing its policies of privatising the Cargo handling terminals. To save the Major Ports, to save the Employees & Pensioners, they have pledged to successfully organize 2 days strike at all the Major Ports on 23-24 February 2022.
