Retired employees of Singareni Collieries demand review of their pension and a minimum pension of Rs 15,000 per month

Singareni Retired Employees Association meeting was held in Hyderabad on 6 June 2022. During the meeting, President Dandamraju Ramchander Rao, Vice President Alavandar Venu Madhav, Secretary B. Banaya, Treasurer Y. Vijaya Babu, Advisors T. Umakar said that the pension of Singareni retired workers should be reviewed and a minimum pension of Rs. 15,000 should be given. They also demanded that retired employees should be given all types of medical services free of cost in all hospitals across the state. They are planning to wrote a letter to the Prime Minister and the Minister of Coal about the problems of retired employees and said that the postcard movement would be carried out.

Singareni Retired Employees Association wrote an open letter to trade union leaders to address the problems of retired employees. The meeting was attended by Narsing Rao, Jayant Kumar, Sampath Kumar, Beeraiah, Kumaraswamy and others.
