Thousands of workers from various Public sector enterprises like Railways, Electricity and Government departments like Defense, Central and State governments, Education participated in a massive rally held in Ramlila Maidan New Delhi on 10th August. Across the country, various government department employees and many public sector enterprises have formed joint committees/ joint federations / joint forums specifically to unitedly fight for the restoration of old pension scheme. Leaders and members of these organizations, travelled from across the length and breadth of the country to participate in the rally organized under the aegis of Joint Forum For Restoration Of Old Pension Scheme(NJCA).
In a press release (attached below), they have declared their resolve to further intensify their struggle by carrying out massive campaign across the country. They have also declared that they will conduct a “strike ballot” on 21st and 22nd November 2023, if government does not concede their demand till then.
