On 8th May, 2024 a memorial meeting was organised by AILRSA, Santragachhi branch, Howrah district, W. Bengal to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Great 1974 All India Railway Workers Historical Strike under the banner of National Coordination Committee of railwaymen’s Struggle (NCCRS).
A seminar was held on the Relevance of 1974 Strike and Present Situation in Trade Union Movement in India. Comrade Fuad Halim was the main speaker. Comrade U.K. Moitra presided the meeting; other speaker was Comrade M. Bhattacharji.
