During a week of fierce protest by the West Central Railway Mazdoor Sangh, a rally and protest against privatisation were organised at the Bhopal railway station. Additionally, gate meetings and protests were held at SSE Pway North Depot and SSE Signal Bhopal Depot. At the protest, Divisional Working President Manohar Shahzadpuri said that the government has to stop the privatisation of railways immediately, and Divisional Secretary RK Yadav said that the WCRMS will continue to protest against the monetisation of railways. Zonal President Women’s Wing and Zonal Vice President Anshu Bhatnagar said that if the government still does not wake up, WCRMS will be forced to strengthen their protest and organise a chakka jam to block the railways for which the government itself will be responsible.
Branch President Alok Tripathi, Youth General Secretary Paramjit Singh, Youth Board President Ravi Choubey, Treasurer Anirud Soni, Administrative Branch Secretary Ashok Sinha, Birendra Rajput, Hari Om Sharan Mishra, Mayank Gupta, Vineet Litoria, Rahimuddin, Vijay Pawar, Amit Verma, Sahil Ali, Vikas Karosiya, Umesh Narayan Srivastava and others were present in the rally.
