On 21 September AILRS organized 12 hours Hunger fast in Visakhapatnam. The inaugural address was given by Com Ch Narasinga Rao, AP State CITU President and Chairman, Visakha Ukku Parirakshana Porata Committee ( for Vizag Steel Plant). During the day long program several organizations leaders visited the pandal and extended solidarity.
Central government employees Coordination Committee Convenor Reddy Venkata Rao, Defence Civilian employees union leader Nageswara Rao, Postal employee’s union Secretary MRD Raju, CITU Visakha District Secretary Koteswara Rao were some the visiting leaders. Public Sector Coordination Committee Co- Convenor Kumar Mangalam gave lime juice to all the participants of Hunger strike and gave the concluding address.
