Condemn the proclamation of ESMA in all government departments of UP to crush the struggle of power workers

A ban on strikes has been imposed in all departments of UP by an order dated 6th December 2024 (enclosed) to stop the employees of other government departments from supporting the power employees in their struggle against privatisation of the two Discoms.

Grid Power Systems of UP has warned all the contract workers from participating in any action in support of power employees and threatened them with immediate termination of their service and blacklisting them so that they cannot get job in any other state government organisation.

Both the notices are an attack on rights of workers to protest against unjust actions of employers and must be condemned by all workers in the spirit of an attack on one is an attack on all.
