Important Notice
As per the meeting of the Rajasthan Electricity Joint Struggle Committee (Workers’, Officers’ and Engineers’ Forum) on 17.03.2025, the following series of programs will be conducted as part of our agitation against the privatisation of electricity companies going on under different names. The Committee appeals to the office bearers and activist brothers of all affiliated unions to share this information with your unions.
- On 02.04.2025 (Wednesday), work boycott will be organized in all subdivisions of Rajasthan. Memorandums against electricity privatisation will be submitted through the Subdivisional Officer to the Chief Minister, Rajasthan government, and through the Assistant Subdivisional Officer to the Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Rajasthan government.
- On 07.04.2025, dharna demonstrations will be organized in front of all district headquarters. Memorandums against electricity privatisation will be submitted through the District Collector to the Chief Minister, Rajasthan government, and through the Superintendent Engineer to the Additional Chief Secretary, Energy, Rajasthan government.
- On 16.04.2024 (Wednesday), a one-day state-level demonstration will be organized at the Jaipur headquarters.
- If the administration takes no steps to stop privatisation despite these demonstrations, Rajasthan Electricity Joint Struggle Committee (workers’, officers’ and engineers’ forum) will be forced to intensify the agitation.
