What the Central government is doing is absolutely ridiculous ! Whether they will succeed in privatizing Neelanchal Ispat is a separate question. But they can’t withhold salary of employees in this manner . And what the hell are the courts doing ? Judiciary tom toms itself as the second pillar of so called democracy in our country. Why is the pillar sleeping ? Why is the Supreme Court not intervening and instructing government yo pay the salary of Neelanchal Ispat employees ? Or may be by its inaction Supreme Court is sending a signal that it is the pillar of capitalist class ?
The working class of our nation has suffered a lot in the pandemic and the government is of no help as it is busy fulfilling the agenda of the capitalist class and making ways for them to make more and more profits. People have died every day of hunger and negligence of the basic medical facility that is to be provided by the government. How does one expect to take care of a family with no salary for more than a year?
