AIUTUC condemns the notification of rules on anti-worker labour codes by the Central Government and calls for intensification of struggle against implementation of labour Codes

The Central Government notified the Final Rules for the three Labour Codes on 8 May 2026, despite severe opposition from working people of the country. The Codes take away the rights workers achieved through more than hundred years of struggle for benefitting capitalist owners. Only intense sustained struggle of the kind kisans waged will lead to withdrawal of the Labour Codes.
