Despite the agreements signed by the Hon’ble Energy Minister with the electricity employees on 3 December 2022 and 19 March 2023, oppressive actions taken have not been withdrawn. Harassment of electricity employees continues. On 25 May 2026, a massive protest was held in Varanasi, the holy land of Baba Vishwanath, to oppose such harassment.
The Hon’ble Prime Minister and Chief Minister have been requested to withdraw all harassment actions against power employees in order to establish a better working environment in the energy corporations, so that all power employees can continue to make every effort to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the people of the state.
