Statement of All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF)

Under the tremendous united pressure of Karnataka’s power engineers, power employees, and farmers, the movement grew into a true mass movement, compelling Tata Power to withdraw its application for a Parallel Distribution Licence today. (Order of Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) attached.)
This victory belongs to every employee, engineer, and farmer who stood together with determination, unity, and unwavering resolve.
Today, KEB Engineers Association President Er Basavanna, and General Secretary Er Chandrashekhar Desai, along with the Executive Committee of the KEB Engineers Association, met Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri D. K. Shivakumar and expressed their heartfelt gratitude on behalf of Karnataka’s power employees and engineers for standing firmly against power sector privatization.
Congratulations to the KB Engineers Association for this historic achievement!
Well done, KEB Engineers Association! Keep up the excellent work. Together, we will continue to protect the public power sector.
