Massive protest by AISMA at Central Railway Headquarters (CSMT) on ‘Power Day’, memorandum submitted regarding demands
Mumbai, 11 August 2026
On the nationwide call of the parent organization All India Station Masters Association (AISMA), a massive and highly successful protest was organized today at the Central Railway General Manager’s Office (CSMT, Mumbai) on the occasion of ‘Power Day’. Approximately 150 railway employees from Mumbai and surrounding areas actively participated in this protest.
Aggressive stance and slogans of the leaders
The main attraction of this movement was the presence of AISMA’s prominent leader Mr. Dhananjay Chandratre. With his aggressive demeanor, powerful speech and thunderous slogans, he reverberated throughout the entire General Manager’s Office premises. His address infused tremendous enthusiasm and energy among all the colleagues present.
March on the premises and resounding slogans
United against injustice, all the railway employees took out a march throughout the railway headquarters premises, raising forceful slogans in support of their demands. The enthusiasm of the protesters was remarkable, creating a stir in the railway administration.
Memorandum submitted to officials, received positive assurance

In the final phase of the protest, a delegation of AISMA met with senior officials of Central Railway. The organization submitted a detailed memorandum to the officials regarding the pending problems and legitimate demands of the employees. During the talks, the railway officials gave a concrete assurance that all the demands would be seriously considered and a positive solution would be worked out.
The organization has warned that if appropriate action is not taken soon on the assurances given, the movement will be intensified further in the coming days.
