Statement by ‘Aamchi Mumbai Aamchi BEST’
The proposal to handover the valuable land of bus depots of BEST on long lease for commercial development is going to cripple the BEST bus services instead of helping to improve its services. Along with we leasing of buses instead of developing its own fleet, the monetisation of the BEST land in prime locations in the city is a further towards privatisation.
