To save Haryana’s power sector from privatization and to protect the interests of farmers, the poor, employees, and general consumers, an important meeting will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Karamchari Bhawan, Rohtak.
Key Agenda Items for the Meeting:
1. Haryana ‘Agri-DISCOM’ and Smart Meter Scheme.
2. Proposal to grant a parallel electricity distribution license to Eleven Power Pvt. Ltd. (Medanta Group) in Gurugram and Nuh.
3. Proposal to grant a parallel electricity distribution license to the Adani Group in Karnal, Panipat, Sonipat, Faridabad, and Palwal.
4. Implementation of transmission projects within HVPNL—under the Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) framework—through the participation of corporate entities and the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) model.
