Message of All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF)
The Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) has issued Parallel Licence for Distribution of Electricity in Nuh and Gurugram to M/S Eleven Power Private Limited on 19 October 2026 despite the strong opposition of power sector workers. The Haryana government has also betrayed power sector workers who withdrew their strike after the government had assured them it would oppose the parallel licence application.

The All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF), along with the National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers, is fully prepared for immediate and decisive action against the parallel electricity distribution licence granted for Gurugram and Nuh.
AIPEF is committed to opposing this move tooth and nail. We will stand shoulder to shoulder with Haryana’s power employees and engineers in this struggle. AIPEF will extend its full support to the decisions taken by the Haryana Power Employees and Engineers Joint Action Committee in its meeting today.
AIPEF is preparing to challenge this order in appropriate court. AIPEF is ready to fight it out with all democratic & legal means.
Together, we shall firmly defend the public power sector and the interests of electricity consumers and employees.
