Why bank workers are forced to strike?

This is a very informative and illuminating article. Thanks to the AIBEA! The article shows very clearly how successive governments have served the big corporates by helping them to rob the people of India who entrust their hard earned savings to banks. The bank workers have raised a very correct demand for accountability and for treating willful defaulters as criminals. Kudos to the bank workers, who through their commitment to duty to the common people have put in so much hard work to literally multiply the assets of public sector banks.
