The Online Meeting of National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers on 17.01.2022

The online meeting of the National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers (NCCOEEE), the main organisation of the electricity employees and engineers was held on 17 January 2022, and was presided over by Com. Shailendra Dubey ji. The meeting was conducted by Com Prashant Choudhary, the Convener of NCCOEEE. In this meeting, the All India Federation of Electricity Employees was represented by the National Secretary, Com. Krushna Bhoyar.
Decisions taken in the meeting:
1) The proposed strike of the electricity employees and officers has been postponed as of now because the Electricity Amendment Act 2021 did not come up in the ongoing session of parliament.
2) On February 1 2022, the over 15 lakh electricity employees and engineers will hold gate meetings against the privatisation of Dadra-Nagar Haveli and Chandigarh electricity department and demonstrate their opposition to the policies of the government.
3) The central leaders of the organisations constituting the National Coordination Committee of Electricity Employees and Engineers (NCCOEEE) will meet the Governor of Chandigarh on February 1 2022 and demand that the privatisation of the Electricity department should be stopped.
4) All the employees and engineers of the Electricity Department will participate in the nationwide strike on 23rd and 24th February 2022 called by the 10 big trade unions and independent organisations against the anti-workers policies of the central government.
All the office bearers of the All India Federation of Electricity Employees from all over the country are notified that they should immediately acct in their states in accordance with the decisions taken by the NCCOEEE.
