Hail the victory of running staff of the Mumbai Division of the Central Railway – Old working system reinstated due to the work boycott of 32 hours since 6th April morning

Work boycott by the running staff had led to the stoppage of movement of all goods train in Mumbai Division of the Central Railway from 6^th April morning to 7^th April evening. The united action of about 1400 running staff forced the rail administration to defer the unjust and inhuman rules related to working hours. New rules will be implemented from 16^th April only after consultation with workers’ organizations.
