Air India employees hold a massive rally in Mumbai on 17 April 2022 to stop their eviction from staff colonies

Report received from Shri Vilas Giridhar, General Secretary, Air India Service Engineers Association

Air India has four staff colonies in Kalina with 1600 flats. Air India management has been using coercion to make staff vacate their flats in these colonies so that land may be handed over to Adani, the new owner of Mumbai Airport. These coercive attempts have been going on even before the Air India was privatised.

The rally was organised by Air India Colony Bachav Samiti.
