AIPEF Federal Executive meeting discussed the issues facing the power industry and power employees

All India Power Engineers Federation (AIPEF) Federal Executive meeting was held at Hyderabad on 28 May. It was presided by AIPEF Chairman Shri Shailendra Dubey. Shri Dubey presented the report Chairman’s report for last two years (given below.

AIPEF Secretary General Shri P Rathnakar Rao, Patron Shri K Ashok Rao & Shri P N Singh, Sr Vice Chairman Smt. T Jayanthi & Shri Sunil Jagtap, participated in the meeting along delegates from 17 states namely UP, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Punjab, Jammu Kashmir, MP, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Puducherry, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Telangana, West Bengal, Odisha and Assam.

Nine resolutions were passed at the Federal Executive meeting.

The Federal Executive meeting of AIPEF called upon the farmers, small consumers (including domestic), MSME units in particular and other consumers to join in the struggle to stop privatisation of the electricity supply industry.
