Sub: Merger of Power Companies in CG
- Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Sri Bhupesh Baghel has taken a welcome decision to partially roll back unbundling of CSEB. As per orders issued on 08 June 2022 two Power Companies have been merged into other Companies and now three Companies remain in place of five Power Companies in Chhattisgarh.
- Chhattisgarh Power Holding Company has been merged into Chhattisgarh Power Transmission Company while Chhattisgarh Power Trading Company has been merged into Chhattisgarh Power Distribution Company. Roll back is a welcome step.
- AIPEF in a letter to Chhattisgarh CM has appreciated this action and has urged for integration of all remaining three Power Companies and forming CSEB Ltd like KSEB Ltd in Kerala and HPSEB Ltd in Himachal Pradesh.
- Merger of Company orders are attached both in English and Hindi.
