Report received from Com. Tapas Chattaraj, Ex-COB, All India Guards Council (AIGC)
A demonstration was held on 1 July 2022 at the call of All India Railwaymen’s Federation (AIRF) in front of ARM Building, Tatanagar, CKP Division, S.E.Railway to protest against the privatisation of railways. Protesters demanded stoppage of privatisation of railway hospitals, surrender of posts in 50% of existing vacancies and contracterization of railway recruitment through Agniveer. Com. Shivji Sharma (AIRF) presided the meeting. The meeting was addressed by Com. Paras Kumar( AILRSA), Com. Tapas Chattaraj, ex COB,AIGC, Com. M.K.Singh (SERMU) and Com. Jawaharlal(SERMU).
